ATIPP Departmental Response Timelines
Requests for information under the Access to Information and Protection of Privacy (ATIPP) Act must be responded to within specific timelines. The timeline for a request is considered met if the response is provided within the legislated timeframe (i.e. 30 days, 60 days with an extension, or over 60 days with an extension approved by the Information and Privacy Commissioner).
